My Ideal Thanksgiving Meal

If I could choose my Thanksgiving meal, I would pretty much have what we have now. We have all the things I like, and about twenty more things I still haven't tried, even though it's been the same meal for 12 years at least. Every year, my maternal grandma makes noodles, squash rolls, pumpkin pie, and a bunch of other stuff, but that stuff is my favorite. My paternal grandma makes the turkey, green-bean cassarole, and I'm not sure what else, but I love both those things. My parents make mashed potatoes, gravy, Oreo truffles, and like, dips and stuff, and I help with the Oreo truffles. I love Thanksgiving with my family, and the food we make, and I wouldn't change it for anything.

If I spoke to a Veteran, I would say thanks. Thanks for fighting for our country, and putting your life on the line for our freedom, especially when not enough people sign up to fight for our country. I really appreciate it, because you don't just defend our country. You go above and beyond and fight for other countries. That, I'm sure, means the world to them. Like when the leader of the country is a mean, ruthless dictator, you go fight with the "rebels". Thanks again for all that you do!
